Wills, Larson place in top 20 at state cross country

Two local high school runners placed in the top 20 of the girls race in the Class 5A State Cross Country meet Oct. 27 at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence.

Andover Central's Kenzie Wills, a senior, completed the course in 15:49.70 to place 13th. Not far behind her was Elise Larson, a sophomore from Andover, whose time of 15:53.30 was good for 17th. Keegan Hanson, also an Andover sophomore, placed 90th in 18:03.50.

In the boys race, freshman Nick May of Andover Central was the only local competitor, placing 51st in 17:32.10.
