Countryside Pet Clinic to hold open house

Please join Countryside Pet Clinic, 1936 N. Andover Road, at an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25.

Bring your friendly, leashed dog and meet the doctors and staff of the clinic. They will be showing their new, small-animal physical rehabilitation facility. This offers a variety of variety of therapy and rehab equipment including treadmill and healing modalities of therapeutic ultrasound and therapy laser.

There will be goodie bags to the first 50 guests, prizes will be given away and refreshments will be served. Kids activities will include contests with prizes. Tours and demonstrations will also be provided.

The clinic's newest doctor, Brenda Cederberg, will be on hand. Prior to joining Countryside Pet Clinic, Cederberg started a small-animal clinic in Kearney, Neb., and owned a practice for 11 years. She left her practice to get back to spending more of her career caring for pets and their owners. She also expanded her education in canine rehabilitation services at the University of Tennessee making her a certified CCRP.

Cederberg's mission is to improve the quality of life for as many pets as possible. She strives to treat each pet with compassion and address each part of their well being, not just with medications and surgery but also nutrition, exercise and environmental enrichment.

Graham Money, RVT, will be joining Cederberg in the rehabilitation program. Her professional interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, pain management, canine fitness / rehabilitation, weight loss and allergy / dermatology services.
